HERE'S SOME TIPS for the GAME:
-
Walk. Run. Grab a Pragha (Small Cart), Taxi and/or Personal Car to start your adventure dashing & digging for culture around the beautiful & busy Ghana. Please Transportation Cost Not Included. If teams are driving in personal vehicles, everyone must wear seat belts and abide by ROAD RULES.
-
The Mission Clues contain rhymes, riddles, Q&A, facts, videos, information and/or photo details for each item listed. Some Mission Clues may contain a location and hands-on activities.
-
Some scavenger hunt missions deal with strangers, street hawkers or business owners. It’s very important to be kind and respectful and with that said – always be on guard and stay safe, use healthy judgment when it comes to local interactions.
-
Match your lettered DIG LIST with the numbered mission clues, and then proceed to DASH for the food item. The DIG List is your word bank and items must MATCH.
-
We play together; we stay together, at all times. If playing as team(s), DO NOT split up to “divide” scavenger hunt missions or pay/bribe additional individuals or locals to join your team to complete missions.
-
If businesses or local citizens lend a helping hand, please thanks them accordingly ("Medaaasee Pa" is "thank you very much")! It's your CHOICE to DASH (give) something small as a gesture. It is NOT REQUIRED. Any borrowed items must be returned to their original owners (if utitlized).
-
No breaking any laws! PLAY LEGAL. Breaking laws are means to be disqualified. This includes (but is not limited to) – shoplifting, assault, trespassing, blackmail, bribery, forgery, perjury, fraud, etc.!
-
No littering. KEEP GHANA CLEAN.
-
After the scavenger hunt is over, any items collected will need to be disposed of smartly (if you can recycle any items- recycle!, or give to someone who can make use of any of the items).
-
All missions must be completed and pictures/videotaping scenes MUST be taken only during the duration of each specific scavenger hunt (challenges completed or photos/videotaping scenarios taken outside of gameplay are not accepted).
-
Spending money is not required. If strategic enough, you can complete the scavenger hunt at a minimal cost! It is discouraged to spend money excessively (especially because most of the fun is being creative on how you complete the missions on the list)
-
NO harassing citizens of Ghana, physically or verbally for items or photographs. They have the power to decline or deny you; it is their right to choose not to participate or help. Respect their voice & choice, PLEASE (even if you think it is lame for not participating).
-
Remember – it’s just a game! Be kind and have fun :-)
